I’m really sorry, Dill. I think I’m high. I can’t stop thinking about lizards.”
Dillion let out a small and abrupt laugh, which sounded more forced then she planned it too. Just like Jason, he always said the oddest things when high. Dillion smiled slightly and cleared her throat again, listening as he made his next comment. She nodded her head and let go of Jason for a quick second to search through her tote for the keys to her apartment. She hoped that Ryan wouldn't be there, she didn't think he'd be all that happy if she brought in her ex, high, boyfriend to clean him off. Finally finding the key, Dillion grabbed Jason's arm again gently, steering him towards the two steps of the apartment, she helped him walk up them and unlocked the door.
"Home." She called out while walking into the apartment, she felt a wave of relief hit her when she didn't get a response. Ryan most likely was working or at one of his classes. Biting down on her bottom lip she turned to Jason and gestured towards the bathroom. "I can run a shower for you and I think I have a shirt and shorts of yours from a while back.." She nodded her head and tucked some of her red hair behind her ear. Should she tell him now? Wait till after the shower when he was more functional and hopefully there? Shaking her head she glanced back up at Jason. "Would you like me to make you a soup or something? For when you get out?

broken bones matilda left a note with a rose saying baby honey child i love you so long but you deserve much better than me so i'm just burning all around all the miles on the road and i'm never going back and i'm never going home i been gone too long i been less right than wrong - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - i lost so much blood in the falling out Jason surmised that he must have at least partially blacked out for a second, because the next thing he was really aware of was being inside, of Dillion’s voice calling out “Home.” as if she expected a response. Did she live with someone? Had she before? He couldn’t remember. No one replied or appeared in response to her calling out, so the thought quickly left his mind. There didn’t seem to be much point in dwelling on it.
“I can run a shower for you and I think I have a shirt and shorts of yours from a while back… Would you like me to make you a soup or something? For when you get out?” She was saying now, and Jason shook his head. He wasn’t sure what he was shaking it about. The whole thing just seemed very optimistic right now. Having a shower? Getting dressed? Eating? All tasks way beyond his mental capacity right now. He was suddenly, more than anything, very tired. He wanted to stumble his way home and pass out on his couch. He wanted to not regain consciousness for a week.
“No. No.” He said finally. He started to say something else, but whatever it was got stuck and left his mouth as a sort of muted grunt. He paused, distracted, glancing around the apartment with idle interest, before remembering that he was in the middle of speaking and trying to pick up where he’d left off. “I’m going to sit down. I think. I will sit down.” He looked around again, searching for a place to sit, and finally deciding the couch was the most sensible place to do this. He’d get sand all over the place, no doubt, but right now he find it hard to be too bothered about this.
note – no you don’t! i’m sorry. i’m really failing and not making it easy for this thread to progress. jason is proving quite difficult to write for tonight.. >:[
