Perry drove up to the bar for a drink, just an hour after he got off from work. Finally he gets to sit down and relax. As much as he likes working, his legs hurt from having had been standing up, cooking up like a storm. So today he's just gonna sit at the bar and have a drink. He'll not be out all night, since tomorrow is another day at work, but oh well. He really likes working there. The pay is good,t he people are amazing and plus its right smack in the city itself, and not that far from the beach.
He likes it here in Miami. Its quite different from seattle. There's no snow only rain and shine. He does miss the fog and the snow but he can always go to there somtimes if he likes to. Until then, here he is. He pulled up in front of the bar and turned off the engine. He is dressed in a white tanktop, black pants, and black booths, his hair slicked back and is wet (it had just rained when he left for work and he forgot his umbrella. His clothes thankfully wasn't drenched since he had his leather jacket on). He also was just listening to George Harrison's haunting song "While my Guitar Gently Weeps," and had no problems singing to it.
He loves that song very much and he's not that bad at it too! However don't expect seeing Perry releasing any albums. He's not into that! Perry just likes to sing along to songs for fun though. He locked his doors of his car and entered the bar soon after. As soon as Perry reached the bar itself, he sat down and ordered himself a Bud. Yep, he is glad he's sitting down and now have a beer along with it. Who knows maybe he might even make some friends?

Donnie had been sitting at the bar for a pretty long time, pondering over how he was going to go about getting at this woman he was so deeply interested in. Whether he liked it or not, Donnie was a purebred player, going from woman to woman and being a heart breaker, but woman piqued his interest so much and she had just as much game as he had. It was quite challenging and perhaps the challenge itself is what attracted him to her. Gavynn Kade was her name, a sorority girl he had met at the U, but from the way she acted, she was a major tease who had Donnie as putty in her hands.
Shaking his head with a chuckle, Donnie stirred his drink with a straw before sipping from it and looking up at the television screen that was hung from the top of the bar ceiling. A basketball game was on and Donnie was pretty locked in as he thought over his ideas of what to wear to the concert this weekend. They had a 'date', or Donnie called it that at least, and he wasn't going to front, he actually wanted to impress the girl, but the hardest thing was what would happen afterward. Would he stay committed to her? Or would he eventually get bored with a monogamous relationship? He didn't want to hurt her feelings, but he had to look out for himself.
Some random guy came and sat beside him. He looked like some guy straight of a noir movie with how his attire and hair looked. Donnie raised his eyebrow as he noticed the guy singing a song he was unfamiliar with. He appeared to be a little too happy about life, but then again, Donnie couldn't knock him for feeling that way. Being nice, Donnie started to spark conversation, "So it's raining outside?"

There was a basketball game on and Perry looked up at it seeing who is playing. The Heat is one of them and he could hear some of the men in the bar clapping and hooting for the boys as Wade made a slam dunk in the hoop. Perry smiled as he watched, and then turned towards his drink. He does sit down to watch sports but its mostly hockey and football. But his team didn't make it to the Stanley Cup so he didn't really watch it right now, since also he has work throughout the night as well. He does keep up with whoever is playing, same with Basketball! However he's not really into baseball.
Perry had just about to drink down his beer when a guy asked him a question. He turned to see an African American young man next to him, looked about in his mid twenties and well dressed. He nodded. "Stopped about five minutes ago," he replied back to him. Of course he probably had thought Perry stepped out of a nineteen fifties movie of which he could probably notice but nah he just didn't have an umbrella at the time. "I just got off of work when it was raining. Didn't have an umbrella with me that's why my hair's wet. Need to remember to buy one. That's one thing I hate about Miami, always raining!" he laughed of course but hey at least it beats out from being in a place where it doesn't rain that often (Arizona.) He would rather take this than of that anytime! "Oh I'm Perry," he answered sticking out his hand to the young man sitting next to him, "and you are?"
OOC: Dude he was singing in the car not in the bar. :) sorry I should've cleared that up more in my first post for you. But yeah he's not singing in the bar. :)

"Donnie," he said, "Donnie West. Not short for Donald, just Donnie." A lot of people thought that Donnie was short for Donald, which certainly wasn't the case. His mother actually got his name from a television show that she used to watch and thought that it was cute for Donnie when he was a baby. Ever since birth, it kind of stuck with him. It kind of had to seeing as how it was on the young man's birth certificate. Finishing his drink, Donnie tipped the bartender before raising an eyebrow. Perry looked familiar. In fact he saw him hanging out with one of the Bennetts.
Shaking off the thought, Donnie continued to watch the game and then relaxed once it got to commercial. He wasn't a big Miami Heat fan, especially since LeBron came to town. He hated LeBron in Cleveland and was a very big Los Angeles Lakers fan. Unfortunately, his team had got ousted by the lively Oklahoma City Thunder and were at home watching the game just like he was. He looked to Perry again and decided to spark another conversation, "So are you from around here? I think I've seen you around the city before but I'm not exactly sure man."

So far from what he had been noticing, the guy wasn't that bad to hang out with so he could see himself coming to here and have a drink talking to the man. Plus he seemed like a good person to hang out with as well. And when the man spoke, Perry only nodded. He didn't say anything, but allowing the other man to speak. He tend to do that, allow the other person to talk and he'd listen. He'd talk back but not that much since he is working on that.
However when the man introduced himself, he didn't really think it would be short for Donald since also there was some people he knew with short names but you never know. Anyway, he was also glad he would at least say it out loud without Perry wondering if it was short for something. "Nice to meet you, and good to know you saved me from asking you." He looked at the television of which it went to commercials. The Heat's winning the game though he had missed when Shaq was in the team.
That would've made a heck of a good lineup. He turned towards his drink, taking a sip from it and then turned to him next. "Oh no, not really. I was born in Seattle, Washington. I work at Sustain restaurant as its cook, you probably have seen me there. Do you go to there and are you from around here?" He wondered if he did see him there because other than home and here, he's mostly there, working. He surely loves to work there of course!
