It was getting a little late, yet the beach was still fairly decently populated. Of course, the biggest crowds came earlier on in the day while the sun was out, but that was mixed crowed ranging from locals, students, tourists, and little kids. Around this time of dusk was when the party-hards came out, bringing drinks and whatnot. Of course, more times than not, these functions were shut down by cops because the beach was supposed to be closed at a certain time. By closed, that meant nothing extremely loud and active going on. Occasionally, one of the partiers would slip an officer a drink ro two to shoo them away, but it did not work every single time. There were coolers spotted everywhere with drink in them, as well as a bar that was open a nice walking distance away from the events.
Donnie walked up with a calm expression on his face as he scanned through his phone to see if he had any messages or tweets. Once he closed it, he took his his shoes, placed them in his backpack, and walked on the beach. His attire wasn't necessarily too flashy, the only article of clothing he wore were some simple black swimming trunks. He didn't plan on getting in the water, but he learned at an early age that things didn't always go as planned. For example, he didn't plan on getting more than one tattoo when he first when to the parlor at the age of 16, here he was with sleeves on both arms and his chest and back covered. Shit happens.
Drifting past a cooler, Donnie scooped up a bottle and popped it open, drinking casually from it as he looked around for any site of Gavynn. He met the young lady in a class that they took together and she always pestered him about random things. It wasn't annoying per se, but it was kind of interesting how she took a liking to him in that regard. Donnie didn't mind it, but he didn't like people all up in his business. He eventually grew to accept Gavynn's questioning and often times told her beforehand not to enter 'interrogation mode'. It always seemed like Gavynn was trying to get the scoop on Donnie. After getting his drink, Donnie sat down a distant away on a towel he brought and took a sip as he stared at the washing ocean water.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style,width: 350px; padding: 10px; background-image: url(http://i.imgur.com/w6MZf.png);] a line of lyrics goes here Gavynn frowned at herself in the mirror. She had been playing with her long blonde curls for entirely too long. She didn't even know why she was attempting to get cute right now. It wasn't like Donnie was anyone special, right? Right. He just intrigued her a bit, she decided. She ventured to the other room in her apartment and smiled when her sorority sister looked up from the computer. "I'm headed to the beach, be back." Her sister frowned at her, obviously wanting to know why this late and with who. Gavynn played it cool as she turned to leave the room, tossing her head over her shoulder before answering her. "Oh, just Donnie." She heard her sister's shrill shriek and rushed back to her room to lock the door so she could finish getting ready. Gavynn knew just like her sister did that there was no, just Donnie. There was super cute Donnie. Bad ass Donnie. But no where was there a just Donnie.
She found a beach bag and packed a pink and green towel and a few hair ties. She adjusted the white binkini on her body before tossing her phone in the bag. She made her way to the car and started her drive towards him and the beach. She tried to calm the butterflies in her stomach by turning on Drake's cd and riding with it. She didn't even know why she was nervous. There was no way she was entertaining the thought of even liking Donnie. He was exactly what she didn't need. A bad, self indulgent boy would do nothing but distract her from her goals. Her mom had taught her from a young age that boys like that only wanted one thing and then were gone. And Gavynn was determined not to be played in that way.
Gavynn arrived to the beach and exhaled grabbing her bag. She planned on getting in the water, because there was no point in coming to the beach if she didn't. She looked around for him and found him before walking towards him. She exhaled as she appreciated the view of a shirtless Donnie. It appeared that he didn't see her and for that she was glad. Once she was certain she had snuck up on him from behind she smirked. "So where's my drink?" words: ### - tags: open - outfit: link |

While Donnie heard an accented voice from behind him, he turned around after taking a sip from his bottle and raised an eyebrow. Sure enough Gavynn was standing there, looking amazing in her swimwear, but Donnie kept his cool as he smirked, finished his drink, and stood up, swatting the grains of sand off his backside. "Is that how you greet everybody?" One thing that Donnie liked about Gavynn was her 'I don't need you' personality. Sure she wasn't one hundred percent like that, because otherwise Donnie wouldn't be attracted to her, but she was strong in her own sense. She didn't need anyone to tell her what to do or how to do it. Donnie tossed the empty bottle into the ocean, not really giving two shits about mother nature and simply nodded at the direction of the bar silently.
He led her to the bar and sat at it. Fortunately, he was twenty-one, so he didn't have to deal with the bartender giving him the run around. Plus he was a regular. He ordered two drinks, one for him and one for Gavynn before looking at her in the corner of his eyes before turning to face her, cheek-in-palm, "So is this what I have to look forward to when we start dating? No hello's or greetings, just 'where's my drink'?" Donnie teased. He wasn't being serious with that statement and was only saying these things to poke fun at Gavynn's antics.
"Cause if that's the case, this definitely will not work," Donnie smiled as the bartender slid their drinks across the counter. Both had a lime green look to them. Donnie sipped it casually as he awaited for a reply from his associate for this evening. He almost expected Gavynn to not show at all. She was that much of a tease with him. She seemed like the type that would probably lead him down a path, only to have it blocked off by the cops, in more ways than one. Donnie, himself was a tease, but if the opportunity rose for a good time, Donnie would be happy to oblige. Anything was fair game in the city of Miami, Florida.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style,width: 350px; padding: 10px; background-image: url(http://i.imgur.com/w6MZf.png);] a line of lyrics goes here Gavynn smirked at him asking if that was how she greeted everyone. "Of course not, it's a special greeting just for you." She cooed in an innocent voice despite the words she spoke. She watched as he got up and frowned at him throwing the bottle in the water. She wasn't exactly green but somethings you didn't do out of common sense and respect for others. she did follow his nod with her eyes to view the bar and nodded slowly before walking behind him.
They sat down and Gavynn adjusted the bandeau top to make sure didn't expose herself to him or any other patron of the bar. The last thing she needed was that embarrassing. She was unfamiliar with the drink that he order but it was free so she would accept it as long as it was good. Gavynn squinted her green eyes as he turned to face her, she could feel his mischievousness coming off in waves. She knew before he even opened her mouth he was about to say something that would agitate her. She flashed the bartender a radiant smile as he slid the drinks to them and rolled her eyes at Donnie.
"The most important thing to be said is we will not be dating." She stated blandly with a smile across her tinted pink lips. Gavynn looked straight at him with a raised arched brow. "Besides, our definition of date is different. Mine is monogamous and includes more than sex. And yours i'm sure is the complete opposite." She liked pushing him, just to see how far he would go with her. That was her reasons for all the questions. Subliminally, she wanted to push just so he would pull back. She would never admit to actually liking him, not even to herself, but it was definitely there. Gavynn lowered herself from the stool before coming to stand in front of him. "Come on." She stated in a tone that was slightly sweeter than the no nonsense tone she usually reserved for him. Her free hand clamped around his free hand as she attempted to pull him from his seat. She didn't put much effort because she didn't want to spill the drink he had just given to her. "If i'm gonna be here with you, we better at least have fun. Come get in the water with me."She stated with a smile. words: ### - tags: open - outfit: link |

Donnie finished his drink off and before he knew it, Gavynn was standing with her hand extended for them to take a dip in the water. With a sideways expression on his face, Donnie raised his eyebrow at her statement about them dating as well as the conditions of both their relationship status. Indeed, Gavynn was a good girl in all aspects of the meaning and Donnie was a bad boy. Monogamy was pretty boring to him. However, the challenge of Gavynn kind of interested him. He could have any girl he wanted, but Gavynn was having none of it when it came to him. He allowed her to lift him out of the seat as they walked towards the water.
"That's not necessarily true. I don't have sex with every girl that I talk to," Donnie said sheepishly as he aimlessly followed her to the water. He could swim, but he wasn't exactly the best swimmer. He actually came to the beach to just chill in the shallow water or sit on the shore sipping on some sort of liquor. A facade to say the least, but if Gavynn wanted to get in the water, then so be it. That wasn't like Donnie, to listen to the interests of a woman, but Gavynn was actually being nice for change, in a sincere maner anyway. He could tell by the tone of her voice that she was serious about him going into the water with her.
"We could definitely have fun, alright," Donnie teased yet again as he put his things down by where he had them earlier. It was then he realized that Gavynn didn't come through on giving him some ice cream. With a chuckle on his face, realizing that this chick played him into buying her a drink. Well... his consolation prize was seeing her in a bikini, so that would probably have to do for now. Nah, Donnie was a little selfish when it came to what he wanted. "Hey, wait a minute. Where's my ice cream?"

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style,width: 350px; padding: 10px; background-image: url(http://i.imgur.com/w6MZf.png);] a line of lyrics goes here A smile graced her face as he let her guide him. She didn't want to admit that while she was walking in front of him she may or may not have put an extra switch in her hips for his viewing pleasure. She could admit that she was a tease, she wanted to make herself look as good as possible to him and then snatching any idea of them being together away.
Gavynn turned to look at him with a raised brow as he smiled sheepishly. "Oh really?" She walked towards him and waited til she was close enough to whisper in his ear. "You obviously didn't want them. I think I'm the first girl who intends to make you work for it." She smiled before lightly pushing against him before turning around and guiding him to the water. She stopped to let Donnie put his things down and shook her head at him saying they could have fun alright. "Good wholesome fun. Or do you not know that kind of fun exists?" She teased.
She laughed and held up her hands innocently. "I figured we didn't need ice cream at the beach!" She giggled. Gavynn wasn't exactly so sorry about it, she had gotten a free drink. She smiled, genuinely enjoying herself and the banter they were engaging in. "I'm sorrrrrrry, Mr. West. I'll buy some ice cream one day, kid. Now, to the water." She took off at that point, running till she hit the water. She jumped at the chill of it before wading out further in it.

"Really," Donnie smirked before she got close to him in his ear. He admitted, he tensed up for a moment when she did that, but then he relaxed once he realized that she probably wouldn't do anything to him. She then said something about how he clearly didn't want the girls that he was sleeping around with, which wasn't one hundred percent true. Some of the girls were quality girls, they were just so in awe that Donnie gave them the opportunity. It was a bit arrogant in a sense, but Donnie wasn't about to turn down a good time with a pretty woman. Fortunately for him, he remained clean by using contraception. The last thing he needed was a baby or some sort of sexually transmitted disease. That definitely wasn't what's up. "To be fair, my definition of fun was changed at the age of 13, so you'll have to excuse me," Donnie shrugged with a straight face as he watched her closely back away from him.
"Of course you didn't. You played me," Donnie said, halfway serious. He really did look forward to having some ice cream, but it wasn't that easy. "No, don't try to apologize now..." Donnie's voice trailed off as he watched her run to the water. A sigh escaping his lips and his head shaking, he simply smiled and walked in after her as he made his way to the waist high water. He wasn't the best swimmer in the world, only decent in the basics of swimming, but he was willing to sacrifice that if he was going to wade with a pretty lady. It was funny, because Donnie kind of felt weird around her. Sure he flirted with her straight up, maybe even too straight up, but actually had a soft spot for her.
He watched her go deeper out into the water while he stood near the shallow end, arms folded as he yelled out to her, "I'm definitely not going any farther than here, man." Donnie had a bad experience as a child, nearly drowning in some water after he and his friends were horse playing at the beach. They dared him to go find a shark, and he wasn't a punk. So he did just that, and he kind of overestimated his swimming abilities. Long story short, a life guard got him out the water and he's been partially terrified ever since. Yet here he was with Gavynn. A sorority girl who was interesting and interested. "Hmm, maybe I should join a frat."
